Toni Interviews Me...
Toni interviews me... Here are her 5 questions:
1) How do you feel now that you're a homeowner?
Well, obviously I feel proud that I own a home- though yet to be constructed- at the age of 26. I feel amazed that I was able to fulfill a dream. I'm even more amazed that everything just fell into place and all signs pointed to the condo being THE condo for us. Yet, at the same time, I'm worried and scared because that means I'll be in debt until I'm 41! I'm scared that, with all the expenses in the future such as having children, educational plans, insurances, etc, we might not be able to pay for everything! We're just banking on making a lot of sacrifices and learning how to save to make it. That includes not having children until we're financially ready.
2) You love bikinis. Which one is your favorite?
Argh! What a difficult question! Here's a photo of my bikini collection circa 2006. That doesn't include the 2 bikinis I bought for the summer (even though I knew I wasn't going to the beach). I broke in one of them though in my brother's kiddie pool in the backyard, one hot summer afternoon.:

My favorite one is the white one (up front, center) and the floral one with aqua background on the very left on the first row. You mentioned you like this bikini, Toni. :)
3) How did you get into blogging?
I don't remember honestly. I was just bloghopping and realized people used it as an outlet and so I created one in Blurty but the contents were too emotional. I didn't want my feelings to be too out there for the world to see (or read) me whine and whine. So I said that I'll blog about funny moments or momentous events in my life instead, ones that would make me look back and smile and moved to blogspot. A friend told me yesterday that she got me hooked to it but parang I remember I got her hooked to it and she had another friend hooked as well. I got my sisters hooked on blogging also.
4) "Don't use your teeth to open things." Do you follow this advice?
No, I don't! I'm not gonna let thousands worth of orthodental care go down the drain just because I was too lazy to look for a pair of scissors! Good thing I have long, strong fingernails so it helps me open things... canned sodas, junkfood bags, packets of ketchup.
5) If you were to come face to face with a 16-year-old version you, what advice would you give her?
Very good question, Toni! I would say, "You know that really cute guy you've been obssessing about? He doesn't like you and he never will. Stop wasting your time entertaining thoughts that maybe that smile, that quick "hi" is a sign that he likes you. So snap out of it, stop pining and let the guys do the pining for you!" And then I'll slap myself right across the cheek as a good wake up call for myself!
Hmmm, I will most probably say also that I'll end up doing okay in life and I don't have to worry about getting pregnant at 17 because I won't get a boyfriend till I'm 20. And that my 1st boyfriend would probably be an ass but I have to "fall" for him if not only to appreciate the next and last one I'll have.
Thanks for the questions, Toni!
